Hi dearest,

I have two weeks holidays, so that I can relax before starting 2015 with a fresh start. This is not only personally, but also professionally. I made a career jump, I am no longer an intern but I turned into an employee. Even though my position is temporary, I am very happy with I have achieved.

I am considering changing the blog a little bit when it comes to lay-out. When it comes to the posts and concept, there will be some changes as well. At the very beginning I said that I am going to share my passion. But Fashion is not my only passion. But I will keep you updated!

Hi dearest,

Earlier this week I twisted my ankle (one of the most painful and annoying things I have experienced).  When I wanted to make some pictures, it was either rainy or very cloudy. Today the urge of making outfit pictures increased and I just decided to make the pictures at home.

Lately, I have been focusing a lot on school and my internship. I really want to achieve and in order to achieve we need to perform. However, I do not forget about my personal life. I love my family, friends and my hobbies.
I remember that my life was very different during my freshman year. When looking back, I feel very proud of the person I am today. I am much more mature, independent and relaxed.

Hi dearest,

My Gosh the week went by so quickly. I was planning on shooting another video, but time slipped through my hand. I will probably upload another video next week.

The end of this semester is fast approaching and I am becoming pretty nervous about next semester (6 months until graduation).  I really want to do a master education, but there is one thing…In the Netherlands there is a new regulation that we need to borrow money in order to study. I do not get the point of this and I will probably never understand. This new regulation is not motivating people to earn a degree…instead it is pushing people into debts. In the long-term the GDP of the country will fall, since the purchasing power of consumers will drop because they are paying back their loans. Of course, there are other mechanisms in the market which brings it back to equilibrium.  I really do not want to borrow money, since I do not want to end up in a spiral. Later in life I will have more costs; hopefully I will have an apartment and even a family. I want to buy necessities without worrying too much about my financials.  

I acknowledge that I need to make a trade off if I want to earn a master degree. Luckily, I have six months to think about this.

Hi dearest,

Almost 6 months my friend and I started a beauty blog in which we share our hair journeys when it comes to curly/coily hair.  Currently, we are also making videos in order to share our routines and curly hair tips. If you would like to have a look, you can click here.

As shared during the weekend I also started making videos for this blog. I think it is much more personal and it gives me room to express myself with body language. I actually found out that I love these types of activities and I am already shoots during my weekends and days off.

During my holidays I did some budget shopping and I will share soon more about my shopping experience!

Hi dearest,

I have been enjoying my holidays and at the same time I had been recording some videos for Naturallycurly.com as well as CurlsNLashes. 

I realized that my internship is going to end within less than two months. I have learned so much at Unilever and I definitely can say that I developed myself as an individual. I have been confronted to different cultures and I am enjoying every minute of this learning curve.

Firstly, I want to wish you an amazing week!
Last week all my days were awesome: I got a positive mid-term appraisal, my projects were going well and above all I realised that I took a great decision which was not giving up on applying for a job within Unilever. I found out that the company usually does not hire interns for the position, so I was an exception. They told me that they are happy with their choice since we all are satisfied with the current situation. 

About the outfit, today I decided to match different colors as well as prints. In the past I used to be very picky when it comes to matching different types of prints. But lately I feel like a creative soul. This results in outfits which would be out of the comfortzone for the 'old me'. I remember that I had all the ideas in my head but I did not execute them because I just did not dare. As I said that was the old me, currently I execute my ideas and this makes me happy.

Hi dearest,

 I had such a nice week! I had a positive mid-term appraisal which is an evaluation of my performance during my internship. I really enjoy what I am doing: my awesome job, blogging, hanging out with my family and friends…To summarize, I love my life at the moment.

During the last couple of years I did not realize that banning negative energy is crucial in order to have an awesome life. This year I started doing that, it is simply not worth it to have people in your life who prevent you from growing. I will not erase them from my memories, because who forgets the past also loses the future.

It’s almost weekend! Jeej! Tomorrow I am going to take another piercing and I am so excited! I really really love piercings and tattoos. I know that lots of people see it as a huge mistake, but well at the end it is someone’s decision. I really wanted a tattoo when I was in California, but then I realized that I already have enough.

I will keep you guys updated about this piercing!

About today’s outfit: my colleagues approached me and told me that they think it is great that I dare to wear over knees.  I like their statement especially, because we are working in a multinational. I decided to combine this with a fluffy cardigan just to give my outfit a glamorous effect. I wore cut out boots, because chucks are not really something to wear to my work when it comes to this outfit. Also, the cut-outs are grungy and therefore make the look less glamorous.

Hope you had a nice Tuesday! My schedule has been so crazy lately that I barely had time to do sports during working days. My colleague is now on holidays and I have been taking over his projects. At the moment I have more than ten projects running and sometimes I have to work some hours extra. Nevertheless, I do not mind since I really love my internship.

Today I decided to wear something casual. I decided to mismatch my shoes and cardigan (different prints) in order to make the outfit somewhat more special. For that reason I decided to wear lots of jewelry as well which are similar to the previous outfit posts.
